SHOPPING IN THE UK?
At checkout, you should be able to choose from two possible options.
* Standard Shipping
* 1st Class Shipping
The Standard Shipping option is free of charge. However, this option does not offer any tracking information at all, and so my personal recommendation would be to upgrade to 1st Class so as to prevent your parcel from getting lost (I cannot find parcels that get lost in the mail without a tracking number, and do not take responsibility for that loss if the extra charge for a tracked shipping option was not paid for by the customer).
If you choose standard shipping at checkout, your parcel will likely take 2-3 business days to reach you, according to the Royal Mail website (the carrier I use).
If you choose 1st Class Shipping, you will be charged a flat rate of £4.55. This is £1 over the minimum cost for me to send any parcel 1st class. And again, this £1 extra is there to cover any additional costs from a potentially higher weight for your parcel, and to cover the cost of your basic packaging. (If you choose gift wrapping from the drop down menu on your selected item's page, you will be charged an extra £5 for that, regardless of if you then go on to select standard or 1st class shipping for your parcel at checkout.) If you choose 1st Class Shipping at checkout, it will likely take only 1 business day to reach you.
Whilst Royal Mail website estimates that a 2nd class (standard) item and a 1st class item are likely to take 2-3 business days and 1 business day to reach you respectively, it is important to take into account that it is only after you have received a shipping confirmation email from me, that your parcel will take this amount of time to reach you. It can take as many as 10 business days for me to actually post off your order, depending on how many other orders I'm juggling, if your item is made-to-order or not, if I'm up to it health-wise (as I'm a one-woman-show) or if your order has fallen on a particularly busy time, like around the holiday period.
However, rest assured that if my preparation time for shipping your order lasts over 5 business days, I will do my best to reach out to you via email, Instagram or Facebook (whatever medium I may have used to contact you previously) to update you on the progress of your order.
SHOPPING IN THE US?
At checkout, you should be able to choose from two possible options.
* International Standard
* International Tracked and Signed
The International Standard option will cost you a flat rate of £7.35 ($9.64). This is £1 ($1.31) over the minimum cost for me to send any parcel 2nd (standard) class. The £1 ($1.31) extra is there to cover any fluctuations in weight that could occur depending on what you've ordered, as well as to pay for the packaging itself that your order will be sent in.
If you choose standard shipping at checkout, your parcel will likely take 6-7 business days to reach you, according to the Royal Mail website (the carrier I use).
If you choose International Tracked and Signed, you will be charged a flat rate of £13 ($17.04). Again, this is £1 ($1.31) over the minimum cost for me to send any parcel 1st class. And again, this £1 ($1.31) extra is there to cover any additional costs from a potentially higher weight for your parcel, and to cover the cost of your basic packaging. (If you choose gift wrapping from the drop down menu on your selected item's page, you will be charged an extra £5 for that, regardless of if you then go on to select standard or tracked shipping for your parcel at checkout.) If you choose Tracked and Signed shipping at checkout, it will likely take 5-7 business days to reach you.
Whilst Royal Mail website estimates that a 2nd class (standard) item and a tracked item are likely to take 6-7 business days and 5-7 business days to reach you respectively, it is important to take into account that it is only after you have received a shipping confirmation email from me, that your parcel will take this amount of time to reach you. It can take as many as 10 business days for me to actually post off your order, depending on how many other orders I'm juggling, if your item is made-to-order or not, if I'm up to it health-wise (as I'm a one-woman-show) or if your order has fallen on a particularly busy time, like around the holiday period.

A SPECIAL NOTE FOR US CUSTOMERS - if, at checkout you choose standard shipping for your parcel, my proof of postage receipt will not contain a reference or tracking number of any kind, meaning that I will have no way to trace where your parcel has gone if it gets lost in transit (this is also applicable for UK orders, as I have discovered they also don't get a tracking number on their postage receipts if they are standard delivery.) It is for this reason that I personally would recommend US customers to select the "Tracked and Signed" option at checkout - otherwise I am not responsible for lost parcels where a tracking number wasn't eligible to be given to me.
For more information on what happens if your parcel gets lost, please visit my "Lost or Broken Items" page.
