How this was made:
This beautiful dragon was handsculpted with polymerclay, lovingly painted with acrylics and pastels before being glazed once with polyurethane varnish and again with epoxy resin, to ensure maximum strength and durability of its spines and limbs.
Personality:
This particular dragon 'Serenity' is one of the kindest dragons to have ever set foot in the Adornarium. She is shy and flighty, but has the heart of a saint. Her pure pastel colours are like the sky at dawn - pale blues and pinks as the sun rises. And as it happens, dawn is her favourite time of day. That is when the cold of the night as finally about to end, and all is quiet and calm. Every dawn she can be seen circling the mountain tops of the air region, gliding like a silent kite, revelling in the peace and quiet as the sun rises and starts to warm her back. She is as light as a feather when in flight, and her scales are surprisingly soft for that of a dragon. She enjoys the company of people who are shy and kind, just like her, and she endeavours to support anxious individuals in their everyday lives.

Any finished sculpture or item of jewellery of mine that you receive, should be relatively strong, but not indestructible. As such, adequate care should be taken to ensure that the piece is out of reach of pets, children, and the possibility of being dropped, as you would with any other fragile ornament in the home. That being said, it will be certainly be strong enough for moderate handling as you examine it and admire its unique features! :)
