How this was made:
These beautiful oak leaf pendants were made from moulds that were filled with resin that was mixed with translucent green dye and filed with iridescent paper flakes that shimmer different colours in different lights. A jump ring and silver bail were attached to the leaf stems, making them both elegant and intriguing pieces of jewellery! After the resin had cured, I removed the leaves from their moulds, shaded it with acrylic paints, and then attached it to an adjustable cord for fastening around the neck.
Measurements:
Large leaf pendant: Entire pendant length (including bail tube): 7.8cm Width (at widest point): 4cm
Small leaf pendant: Entire pendant length (including bail tube): 5.5cm Width (at widest point): 2cm
Attached adjustable cord necklace length (for both): 22cm on shortest setting and 25cm at longest setting.
