How this was made:
This beautiful dragon is made from black polymerclay, which was then sculpted around an aluminium craft wire armature. It was then positioned onto a polymerclay base where faux blue and white daisies were positioned. This dragon was also given clay vines and other resin flowers to create a thoroughly natural and floral appearance, and then she was painted in colour-shifting mica powders, that change from dark purple/blue to metallic teal in different lights.
Personality:
In springtime we see many flowers in the daytime, but what do daisies look like at night? This question was the inspiration behind the creation of Dahlia. The answer is that they look luminous white in the darkness, with a slight blue sheen of enchantment seeming to create a haze in front of them. The experience of seeing summer flowers in the dark is surreal and surprisingly pleasant, and Dahlia is here to remind you to always stop and smell the roses - even when surrounded by the darkest night.
Extra (important!) information:Standard shipping is always free for UK residents! However, unfortunately those outside the UK must pay a little extra for postage, and both UK and international customers must pay extra if they want their order sent by special delivery guarenteed or to be tracked.
I would HIGHLY recommend (especially in this time of covid 19 bringing chaos to our postal services) that both UK and US customers pay for the shipping option that offers tracking, as if not, there will be no way for us to find where your package has gone if it gets lost or delayed on its way to you.
