How this was made:
This beautiful zodiac dragon was handsculpted with polymerclay around a wire armature, then painted with acrylics and glitters before being glazed once with polyurethane varnish and again with epoxy resin, to ensure maximum strength and durability of its spines and limbs.
Personality:
The Sagittarius personality (that this zodiac dragon is based on) is one of curiousity, enthusiasm, and a great sense of humour with a willingness to be an adventurer and travel the world. Sagittarius knows that being open minded is essential to learning - they enjoy philosophy and their freedom is their most prized possession.
Depiction:
Here the Sagittarius dragon is poised to fire one of his golden arrows, as the symbol of Sagittarius is the archer. Because this zodiac sign can also be depicted as being a centaur, this dragon’s body is a warm shade of chesnut brown to evoke the colour of a horse’s coat. His spines and horns also fade up into a fiery explosion of colours, to depict the fact that Sagittarius is a fire sign and has a daring and adventurous personality.
