How this was made:
This beautiful dragon is made from granite-effect polymerclay, sculpted around an aluminium craft wire armature. It was then dusted with purple iridescent mica powders before baking. It was secured to an separate polymerclay tray to catch incense ash, or to hold jewellery trinkets or other small objects. This tray was also handpainted with acrylic paints and glitter to give it an extra magical feel.
Personality:
Sasha dwells in the spirit region, and it is said that she is the guardian of incense smoke and vapours. So whenever any creature burns incense on the ground below, the smoke will float up to Sasha, who will capture it in glass bottles to preserve every scent, and every emotion contained within. She recognises the healing powers of aromatherapy, and as such, she would make a fabulous companion to anyone who loves candles, essential oils, or incense! On her perch she works as a wonderful incense holder, or an equally good trinket guarder! Regardless of what task you provide her with, Sasha will make a great addition to any altar, shelf or desk space.
