How this was made:
This beautiful dragon was handsculpted with polymer clay around a wire armature, then painted with acrylics and glitters before being coated in epoxy resin, to ensure maximum strength and durability of its spines and limbs. The dragon was attached to blue swirly mushrooms also made with polymerclay, so it looks like she is climbing up them.
Personality:
In a near forgotten area of the Earth Region, the trees create dark shaded groves - perfect conditions for mushrooms to grow - and the twilight hour casts a blue glow over the place. Many do not dare to enter the groves at this special time, for it is said that this is where fairies dance, and they may play tricks or cast spells on you. In this enchanted time, the usual red toadstool mushrooms take on the same blue colour as the atmosphere, and the air is filled with magic. But Belle the dragon is not afraid to make this place her home - in fact, she thrives on its atmosphere, as she herself also turns blue at the twilight hour of every day when the fairies begin to play around her. This enchanting figurine would be perfect for anyone who is interested in the wondrous magic of nature!
